Student Judicial Services
Student Judicial Services (SJS) at UT Austin aims to maintain the highest standards at UT. SJS works to promote academic integrity and to encourage proper standards of conduct among individuals at the university. These standards are written out in the university Honor Code, and the Core Values provide guidance towards striving to represent the university suitably. It is the duty of SJS to investigate various violations of academic honesty that may need assessment or overseeing. Appropriate disciplinary measures are then implemented on a case-by-case basis.
Student Judicial Services aims to uphold the mission of UT and to promote integrity among the UT community. SJS hopes to cultivate a university that is safe and healthy. Through active reflection and promotion of integrity at UT, SJS is able to connect the university’s Honor Code to the community. SJS is committed to the values of UT and spreading awareness. The Student Judicial Services Office is located in the Student Services Building (SSB) in suite 4.104, and can be contacted at 512-471-2841.
