Description: During this Faculty Research Presentation, Dr. Stephanie Jue of the Business, Government & Society department will discuss the economic cost of events such as climate change, species extinction, and pollution control. She will extensively examine what role, if any, government regulation of such things should play in a free market.

Description: Students and staff are invited to drop by, mingle, and enjoy brunch in honor of our outstanding faculty.

Location: Gebauer 3rd Floor Conference room
Council: Liberal Arts Council
Description: Each year, Liberal Arts Council hosts a breakfast during Senate Faculty Appreciation Week to show our support for CoLA faculty and all that they do for Liberal Arts students. This event is only for faculty members but is organized by students.

Description: One outstanding professor from each engineering department will be presented with an award. We would like to make this event special by inviting all engineering professors, students, and staff to help celebrate! Excellent food and drinks will be provided.

Date & Time: March 7th, 5 – 6:30 p.m.

Council: University of Texas Nursing Student’s Association
Description: This is a formal event, and offers a meal that is catered. It will provide students with an opportunity to interact with their professors on a more personal level. It will give students the opportunity to get to know future instructors they may have in the upper division sequence of nursing school.
