• Strengthen faculty retention and recruitment

Emphasize Academic Integrity

• Rewrite Honor Code and develop Honor Board structure
• Incorporate academic integrity into first-year programs
• Support training for TAs regarding academic integrity

Strengthen Student Presence at Capitol

• Improve student and organization participation in Invest in Texas Campaign
• Work with other universities and the Texas Exes to promote higher education at the Legislature
• Meet with key legislators and staff on higher education funding and relevant legislation

Increase Transparency and Accessibility

• Reach out and visit campus organizations
• Expand SenaTeas and university-wide discussions
• Continue expanding multimedia and communication efforts

Improve Organizational Culture and Council Outreach

• Build cohesion between internal Senate and the college councils
• Increase outreach to councils and improve communication
• Create welcoming, inclusive environment for internal Senate
• Improve communication with councils on legislation before and after it goes through the Assembly and set timetable for each piece of legislation
