College of Education CTBAC

The COE CTBAC is designed to help identify academic priorities for students in the college, recommend changes in tuition, and advise on the budget.   This committee will go through a process similar to that of the current TPAC and make written recommendations to the Dean.  The recommendations of the CTBAC will be available for public comment from the college community. The benefits of this increased student involvement— adding transparency of process, informing students, and giving a stake in the outcomes—will further UT’s commitment to including the student voice at all levels.

Purpose

CTBAC will serve various purposes within the College of Education. The primary functions of the CTBAC include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. To discuss college-level academic priorities;
2. To consider the allocation of budget resources within the college necessary to achieve college-level priorities;
3. To recommend such tuition increases as are necessary to meet those priorities;
4. To solicit feedback from students, faculty, and staff; and
5. To work with other budget advisory committees to collect input from members of the university community about university-wide budgetary recommendations and changes
