College Councils

The purpose of Senate is to represent the students of The University of Texas at Austin in academic affairs. Towards this end, we serve as a forum for communication between the various student councils of the Colleges and Schools of The University of Texas at Austin. We represent the collective opinion of the councils at The University of Texas at Austin primarily on academic issues and secondly on other issues of importance to the University.
