Democratic Education of Texas (DemTex)

DemTex is a student-led program in which students have the opportunity to create their own course and syllabi in order to facilitate their own course. The goal of DemTex is to encourage undergraduate curiosity in an academic environment through peer-facilitated, for-credit (pass/fail) courses based on topics chosen by students.

Undergraduate Research Journal (URJ)

The Undergraduate Research Journal is a multi-disciplinary journal featuring undergraduate research initiatives at the university. It is student written, run, and edited.

The URJ is published each year by students to highlight some of the substantial research efforts put forth by the university’s undergraduates. The journal’s interdisciplinary nature makes it an even better read for students who are curious to know what scholarly activities are taking place across campus.
